Join us for a special guided hike celebrating the amazing fireflies that call the Garden home! These fascinating insects are most active at dusk, just as the sun sets and darkness begins to fall. Along the way, you’ll learn about their life cycle and how to create a firefly-friendly habitat in your own backyard.
This program includes an engaging presentation, a guided evening walk through the Garden, and an opportunity to catch and release fireflies. We recommend bringing a clean, dry plastic jar with a lid (such as a mayonnaise jar) for this experience—and don’t forget a flashlight for after dark!
Capacity is limited, and advance registration is the best way to secure your spot. Walk-ins will be accepted only if space is available, so be sure to reserve your place today.
