Retired schoolteacher Eleanor Bannister lives a life of quiet routine in her small American town until a storm leaves a hole in her roof and brings the charming yet guarded Abel Brown to her door. What starts as a simple repair grows into unexpected friendship and the quiet possibility of love, even after she thought that chapter was closed.
