Fire Bending
Fire Bending is a four-weekend ceremonial immersion for those already walking in ritual and ceremonial spaces who feel called to deepen their relationship with fire - not as a tool or symbol, but as a living presence and teacher.
Held on private land in Western Massachusetts, we gather in circle over four weekends to learn with fire rather than about it. Together, we tend flame alongside breath, emotion, and truth, cultivating responsibility, clarity, and grounded power through direct relationship and shared practice. This is fire tending as a relational, ancestral art - slow, embodied, and rooted in reciprocity with the land and each other.
This journey is not about mastery or control.
It is about listening, reciprocity, and remembering how to stand in right relationship with fire during these transformative times.
Who This is For:
This offering is for people who are already participating in ceremonial or ritual spaces and feel ready to deepen their lived relationship with fire. It is for those who value presence over performance, are willing to learn through direct experience, and feel called to tend fire with responsibility, humility, and care. This work is best suited for those who are comfortable in community, open to reflection, and committed to showing up consistently over time.
Fire Bending unfolds across four weekends between March and June and is facilitated by Suzette Peña, ceremonialist and master fire keeper, alongside Brighid Murphy, healer, firetender and ceremonial space holder.

Suzette Peña
Suzette is a ceremonialist and elementalist who creates experiences of healing, remembrance, and deep connection. A master fire keeper, she tends sacred fires and works in collaboration with spirits and the land. Her work is devoted to remembering who we are and our deep belonging to each other and the living world.
Brighid Murphy
Brighid is a healer, mentor, and soul guide who co-facilitates Fire Bending. With over two decades of experience tending ceremonial fire and holding space, she brings grounding, attunement, and deep listening, supporting participants in integrating their experiences with care, presence, and compassion.
