Finnbar’s Force Abseil 2026

There aren’t many Saturdays where you get to stand on the edge of The Forum, look down at Millennium Plain, and think: yeah, I’m doing this. But that’s exactly what’s waiting for you on 15 August — and we promise the view from the top makes it worth every wobbly knee.
The Finnbar’s Force Abseil 2026 gives you the chance to take on one of Norwich’s best-known buildings in one-hour slots throughout the day, from 10am to 4.30pm. Whether you’re a born thrill-seeker or someone who’s never been entirely comfortable with heights, this is a challenge that’s equal parts nerve-wracking and brilliant — and you’ll have a team of experienced professionals guiding you every step (and descent) of the way.
You’ll be in great company. Abseiling down The Forum is a proper Norwich tradition, and it’s the kind of event where strangers cheer each other on and everyone finishes with a grin they can’t quite explain. Bring friends, drag your colleagues along, or sign up solo and make some new ones — the atmosphere takes care of the rest.
Your £20 registration fee secures your slot, and we ask that participants raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship. Every penny goes to Finnbar’s Force, supporting families facing childhood cancer.
All participants will receive a certificate and a badge to celebrate their achievement!
