About this Event
Many Fosters gravitate toward familiar helping professions, but there are many ways to build a meaningful career in policy, public affairs, and systems change. Village Gathering is designed to expand what feels possible by exposing attendees to underrepresented career paths through real stories from leaders with diverse academic and professional journeys.
Join Foster Advocates for an engaging panel and community networking space with panelists who have explored neuroscience, human rights, development practice, medicine, policy, and public affairs. You’ll hear how they navigated career pivots, built purpose-driven careers, and used their experiences to create impact in the world around them.
This event is for Fosters, allies, students, and community members who want to explore new pathways, build relationships, and connect with others who care about advocacy, policy, and practice. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and leave with a broader career universe and new connections.
