Emotions make us more human. Emotions are the spice of life. Emotions move us. Unfortunately, there is no training in our education system about how to deal with our own emotions especially when we go through intense emotional disturbances.
In this day immersion you will focus on the principles of emotions and how they affect our physical and mental well-being. Looking briefly into the neuro-chemicals of emotions and their effect on our health and diving into the Indian Philosophical aspects connected to emotions.
During the day you will discuss and practice 3 important cognitive tools for emotional strength, well-being and resilience. Sudhir will provide you with practical tools to help stay calm amidst stressful situations and gain mastery over our emotional upheavals.
Sudhir Rishi is the Director of Teacher Trainings at Sthira Yoga. He has been involved in the fields of yoga, meditation, philosophy and Ayurveda for the past 30 years. He lived as a monk for eight years, dedicating himself to intense meditation practices. In the last 10 years, he has taught in more than 200 groups of 200hr yoga teacher training courses (YTTC) and 300hr (YTTC), in addition to pranayama & meditation courses, workshops and silent retreats in Asia and Europe. He is an ERYT-500 with more than 30,000 hours of teaching experience.
