Discover how ancient traditions can help you better understand your body's natural patterns and create simple, sustainable practices for everyday well-being.
In this 75-minute experiential workshop, you'll explore the foundations of Ayurveda alongside the Stars & Roots approach to herbalism. Together, these complementary traditions offer practical ways to understand your unique constitution, recognize patterns of imbalance, and support your nervous system with intention.
Jennifer Foley will introduce the three Ayurvedic doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—and explain how they influence energy, stress, digestion, and daily rhythms through herbal energetics. Julie Johnson will then guide participants through the energetics of gentle nervous system herbs, helping you build a simple herbal protocol based on your dosha tendencies and supportive nervine plants.
Together, you'll leave with a practical framework you can begin using immediately.
You'll Learn:
The foundations of the three Ayurvedic doshas
How constitutional patterns can influence the nervous system
An introduction to gentle nervine herbs and their energetics
How to create a simple herbal protocol based on your dosha tendencies
Everyday rituals for supporting balance, resilience, and regulation
This workshop is beginner-friendly and intended for educational purposes. No prior experience with Ayurveda or herbalism is necessary.
