Democratic societies depend on a strong and independent civil society, with nonprofit organizations in need of sustainable funding to turn ideas into lasting impact. Smaller organizations and emerging initiatives often face the challenge of finding private donors and philanthropic supporters who are willing to invest in their work.

This workshop provides practical insights into philanthropy and tools for presenting projects to potential funders, identifying suitable supporters, and developing effective first contacts. It is aimed particularly at NGOs, initiatives and civil society organizations working in Germany. Previous professional fundraising experience is helpful but not required.
