Financial Reality Fair (Grades 11-12)

Presented by Clearview Federal Credit Union in partnership with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, the Financial Reality Fair gives students a chance to experience what it’s really like to balance a budget, make spending decisions, and face the unexpected twists of the real world — all in a fun, hands-on simulation based on their career interests!

Teachers will need to attend a 30 minute virtual meeting on September 15th from either 11:30am-12pm OR 3pm-3:30pm to learn more about pre-event preparation - which includes students choosing a career in advance and researching the necessary education and anticipated salary to inform the activities of the event. An email with more information and links to the virtual meeting will be sent to those who register.

Registration is limited to 10 students per school due to event capacity. If you are interested in bringing additional students, you can always send us an email closer to the event date to see if we have any additional space due to cancellations.

Chaperones must stay onsite for the entirety of ALL events and always be accessible to their students if needed, as the AIU is not responsible for attendees.
