CRSC and Kaleidoscope Social Impact are partnering to bring to campus financial literacy workshops designed to help post-secondary students navigate through food insecurity and financial challenges.

These workshops are open to all post-secondary students across the Capital Region.

Session 4: Scams & Fraud Awareness

Scams can happen to anyone—and knowing what to look for can help you stay one step ahead.

Join CRSC and Kaleidoscope Social Impact for a practical workshop designed to help post-secondary students recognize common scams, protect their personal information, and navigate online and government services safely.

In this session, you’ll learn how to:

  • Spot common scams and warning signs
  • Verify emails, messages, websites, and other communications
  • Protect your personal and financial information
  • Access government services safely and confidently
  • Know what to do and where to report a scam

Whether you’re new to Canada or simply want to feel more confident online, you’ll leave with practical tips to help protect yourself from fraud.
