About the artists
From a young age, Dana-Lynn Farrell has enjoyed making music both on and off the stage. While her training was focused on classical and musical theatre, she also grew up singing Irish folk music in local pubs and eventually attended Dalhousie University to study opera. She has been a music teacher, a singing telegram, performed in musicals and operas, and every year sings with the East Coast Caroling Company as an Edwardian Christmas caroller around the Maritimes.
Since moving to Fredericton, she has been singing at Wilmot United Church. She enjoys reading, knitting, playing board games, and spending time outdoors camping, swimming, and cycling.
Steven Peacock, a classical guitarist, composer and choral conductor based in Fredericton, has performed as a soloist and accompanist in concert and recording engagements throughout Canada. Keenly interested in ensemble work, he has performed extensively with flutists Sally Wright and (in the UK) Jane Coulcher-Stoltenberg; sopranos Sally Dibblee and Wendy Nielsen; violinists Hyung-Sun Paik and Nadia Francavilla; violist Natalia Delacroix; bassoonist Yvonne Kershaw; percussionist Michel Deschênes; cellist Emily Kennedy; bassist Howard Baer; and
guitarist Gerry Van Wart. He also performs with the Jim Campbell Jazz Trio.
