About this Event
Ready to take charge of your financial future?
Join us for an introductory Q&A session designed to help you build confidence, create a practical budget, and start planning toward your goals. This session is perfect for anyone wanting simple, supportive guidance on understanding their finances and making positive changes.
What we’ll cover
Our facilitator will guide you through key budgeting essentials, including:
- How to prepare a sample budget
- Using and adapting budget templates
- Understanding priorities, needs, and wants
- Strategies for budgeting for large or irregular bills
- How to plan and budget for your personal goals
We’ll also touch on general financial recovery strategies for those experiencing hardship. While sensitive topics may not be discussed individually in a group setting, the session will cover helpful approaches such as communicating with creditors and understanding your options.
This is an introductory session, and if there is strong interest and attendance, it has the potential to develop into an ongoing series offering deeper guidance and continued support.
Hosted by Financial Counselling Service NSW.
