Harvesters Community Food Network is rolling up with their refrigerated truck to fill our community fridge and we’d love your help stocking it with fresh, nourishing food.
This event is close to our hearts because it allows us to do something extra special: provide families across Kansas City with perishable items that truly make a difference at the dinner table.
Suggested items include:
• Milk
• Butter
• Cheese
• Orange juice
• Hot dogs
• Apples
• Bacon
• Yogurt
• Oranges
• Pre-packed lunch meats (not deli)
For food safety, all donations must be purchased at Hen House. After checkout, simply roll your cart up to the truck and hand off your items to Harvesters volunteers, they’ll make sure it gets to the neighbors who need it most.
We’re so grateful for the generosity of this community and your continued dedication to fighting hunger. Together, every gallon of milk, every bag of apples, every little bit adds up to a whole lot of hope.
