Info: Treasure of the Rice Terraces- A Documentary film about a Filipino-Canadian filmmaker who returns to his homeland to reconnect with his roots, he learns about the ancient art of Kalinga tattooing from the legendary 108-year old artist, Apo Whang-od, discovering how this once-forgotten tradition has shaped the Filipino identity.

Fil-Am will have its LA Premiere at FACFF. It is a short film under the FilAm Creative Fiscal Sponsorship Program.

Info: Mabuhay - A narrative film about an artistically inclined college sophomore struggles to balance the traditional expectations of her Filipino mother with finding a fulfilling vocation. Along the way, an unexpected reunion with her estranged cousin allows her to test the boundaries of her burgeoning adulthood.

Dying Moon is directed by Lisa & Irene Yadao. Mimic is directed by Kiersten Villanueva. Both short films are Birns & Sawyer Grant Award Winners.
