Fiction 440, is still Lansing’s home for flash fiction story writing, and this will be the 99th edition. The next event will be held Tuesday January 20th. The event will be held at Jimmy’s Pub 16830 Chandler Rd in East Lansing. If you are not familiar with Fiction 440 it is a gathering of short fiction writers. Usually there are 3 words supplied that are writing prompts and must be included in the text. As the name implies the stories should not contain more than 440 words and should also be fiction.
If you don’t like to write stories, but do like to listen to stories, you are welcome to come. People may begin to arrive at 5:30 for a chance to get something to eat, something to drink, and a chance to socialize. Stories begin at 6:30.
