About this Event
Join us in the ARC MakerSpace for a fun festive workshop where you’ll design and produce your very own seasonal decorations using our amazing laser cutter.
The session is led by ARC based researcher Emily Maxwell who will also be highlighting how laser cutting technology is enhancing real-life research and development.
Booking Information
- Suitable for ages 4+. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
- The session is free but capacity is strictly limited and booking is essential.
- Please reserve tickets for every member of your party, including children.
About the Maker Space
The ARC’s new MakerSpace is a bright and welcoming environment where people can turn ideas in real-life objects and designs. The MakerSpace is equipped with various tools and equipment for crafting, coding, electronics, 3D printing and constructing.
This session will use the MakerSpace’s Laser Cutter which uses a highly focussed laser to cut through materials such as wood, plastic and foam.
