Festive Fortification: Sherry, Madeira, Port and more

From the bone dry to the lusciously sweet, fortified wines come in the full range of styles yet are so often overlooked. We can't think why – we would drink them everyday if modern life didn't get in the way of our dream of living like Tudor kings. Tonight, we throw off the shackles and revel in the warmth, flavour and just-rightness of fortified wines for this festive season. Think Madeira with a pork pie or the iconic parternship of Port and Stilton – fortified wines bring so much pleasure, you'll be left wondering why you haven't been drinking these excellent wines year round!

Our shop tastings start at 7.30pm and run for approximately one-and-a-half to two hours. We will taste 6-8 wines on a theme, and bread, cheese and charcuterie is provided to match with the wines. Due to the communal nature of the tasting, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements.
