Festive Florals Collage & Watercolour Workshop

At this full day workshop, Kate will expertly guide you through the basics of watercolour painting and teach you to design a festive piece.
About this Event

Kate Rebecca Leach is the contemporary artist, author and surface pattern designer behind uk based studio Essoldo Design. Reflecting a background in textiles, she blends a love of vibrant watercolour with mixed media elements. Her signature style pairs organic botanical forms with detailed pen and ink embellishmen. Known for rich patterns and vibrant colours, Kate's art, fabric collections and best-selling books are known and sold worldwide.

In this workshop you'll learn a range of wet on wet and wet on dry watercolour techniques, with collage and mixed media element, to help you create your very own, unique piece of art based on festive floral and botanical themes. You'll learn how to create a bespoke colour palette and use your own ideas, as well as Kate's portfolio of designs and patterns to help you.

All materials will be provided but please feel free to bring your own favourite materials or brushes.

Workshop suitable for total beginners through to experienced artists.
