Celebrate the ancient Festival of Imbolc at Avalon Archaeology! Join us for family-friendly crafts, weave a Brigid Cross made of rushes and reeds to take home, and learn more about this ancient festival.
Imbolc, celebrated on February 1st or 2nd, marks the midpoint between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. It’s a time to celebrate the return of light and the first signs of spring. Imbolc is also known as Saint Brigid’s Day.
Drop in, normal admission applies.
