The Tor in Glastonbury stands as a powerful symbol of the harmony between feminine and masculine energies. We will delve deeply into our exquisite two-day dance workshop unfolding in the mystical setting of Glastonbury.
In this idyllic setting, we will dance our way into intimacy, moving from our wildness into the divine within.
Come together to celebrate Spring and experience some of the best vivencias! Open your heart, receive, dance, relax, and connect.
No prior dance experience needed - we welcome everyone irrespective of gender or dance proficiency. This event is about the shared experience, acceptance, and the beautiful nuances that make us human, connecting us even more deeply.
About Biodanza
'The Dance of Life’, Biodanza is a process which improves vitality and well-being over time. Biodanza system was created in the 1960’s by the Chilean psychologist Rolando Toro, and now is loved by people in 54 countries.
'Biodanza is a fusion of art, science and love. Music is the universal language understood by all, and dancing is the form to re-connect the body and soul while human contact awakens a sense of “love for ourselves and our fellow man' - Rolando Toro.
The Vivencia will be led by Olga Bastable. Following Biocentric principles of Biodanza Olga’s mission is to re-awaken hidden resources of vitality, affectivity, sexuality, transcendence and creativity through movement. Olga has been running her weekly classes and events in London, Rottingdean, Oxford and Glastonbury since 2014. Olga had has over 20 years of experience in facilitating meditation groups, festivals and managing charitable educational projects.
What to expect.
Day 1. From 10:30 - 20:00. Three Vivencias and singing bowls meditation. Please bring vegetarian food and drinks to share, we have a kitchen there in the hall. There also are plenty cafes on the High Street for our breaks!
Day 2. 10:30- 17:00 Vivencias, hugs, closing ceremony.
What to bring.
Comfortable and beautiful clothes, whatever you like to dance with and a bottle of water.
A rug / blanket for the sound meditation.
You may want to bring your favourite teas bags and snacks. There is a kitchen available, so you can have some tea anytime you want, outside allocated tea breaks in the meal area.
