A 3-hour immersive yoga & ritual experience
Imbolc marks the sacred midpoint between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox — a liminal moment when the Earth begins to stir beneath the frost and the first signs of new life quietly emerge.
Traditionally celebrated on 1st–2nd February, Imbolc is a festival of fire, renewal and hidden potential, inviting us to awaken what has been resting within.
This ancient Celtic festival is closely connected to Brigid — Goddess of fire, healing, poetry and creativity — a Triple Goddess who later became Saint Brigid. At Imbolc, Brigid appears in her Maiden aspect, symbolising new beginnings, fertility of ideas, and the rekindling of inner light.
This year, our gathering will also honour the Full Moon on Sunday 1st February, amplifying themes of illumination, release and clarity. Together, Imbolc and the Full Moon offer a powerful opportunity to cleanse, reset and consciously plant seeds for the months ahead.
The Journey
Through ritual, movement and meditation, this workshop is an invitation to reconnect with the Divine Feminine — the intuitive, cyclical, creative wisdom that lives within us all. Often overlooked in modern, masculine-driven structures, this energy is essential for balance, healing and wholeness.
Drawing on both Celtic and yogic traditions, the practice will gently awaken Shakti (life force energy), encouraging us to shed what no longer serves and align with our deepest inner knowing.
The session will include:
Grounded and flowing asana to awaken the body
Pranayama and cleansing practices to clear stagnant energy
Mudras, bandhas and mantra to activate inner fire and intention
Guided meditation and ritual inspired by Imbolc and the Full Moon
Sound, deep rest and reflection to integrate and restore
We will work with the symbolism of fire, earth, water and air, honouring both the natural world and our inner landscape — clearing space, setting intentions and reconnecting with the quiet strength that allows us to grow.
Who This Is For
This workshop is suitable for **all levels of ability**. You do not need prior experience of yoga or ritual — only a willingness to slow down, listen inwardly and honour this turning point of the year.
Come as you are, and leave feeling grounded, inspired and reconnected to your inner flame.
