Whether you're an archaeological amateur, a history enthusiast, visiting as a family or simply curious, join us at Greyfriars for our first Festival of Archaeology between Tuesday 21 July and Saturday 25 July.
From discovering archaeological features on a spotting sheet, trying your hand at sand tray archaeology, or chatting with our volunteer team as they open test pits in the garden and share their latest finds, there’s plenty to see, discover, and explore!
This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.
