Get ready to savor the soul of Salvador! This year’s Festival Afro Bahia Food Taste, themed "What the Bahiana Have," honors the iconic Acarajé Bahianas—the heart and heritage of Bahia’s vibrant street food culture. Join us for an unforgettable celebration where flavors, rhythms, and traditions meet. From delicious vatapá and bolinhos de estudante to rich abarás , and, of course, the legendary acarajé, taste the true essence of Afro-Brazilian cuisine. Come enjoy authentic dishes prepared by the hands of those who keep these ancestral flavors alive. With live music, cultural performances, and the unmistakable energy of Bahia, this is more than a food festival—it’s a tribute to the women who carry centuries of tradition in every bite.
