The Spaces Between brings together artists from diverse backgrounds who explore diaspora and the movement between places, identities and states of being. The project centers around transition, the space between endings and beginnings. The undefined in-between where cultures, languages and life chapters overlap.
The exhibition unfolds through a range of artistic practices including performance, poetry, video, photography, visual and textile art. Alongside the exhibition, Masken SoundCollective presents a curated sound program where DJs explore the theme through experimental and atmospheric sets. Together, the project creates a sensory environment where art and music merge, inviting the audience into a shared space for reflection, experience and new perspectives on identity, transformation and belonging.
