About this Event
Step into the vibrant, living world of fermentation with Meaghan Carpenter, Co-Founder and Head Food Alchemist at HEX Ferments. In this one-hour talk, Meaghan shares how HEX brings traditional fermentation techniques to life through their line of vegetable ferments and kombucha.
We’ll break down the basics of fermentation (yes, a little science but the fun kind), explore the history and purpose behind these age-old methods, and dive into HEX’s thoughtful approach to sourcing local-organic ingredients.
The experience wraps up with a guided tasting of four ferments; so you can see, smell, and taste what fermentation is all about.
Please note: this is an educational talk and tasting, not a hands-on workshop.
