A Supportive Space for Healing and Connection
Femme Recovery is a monthly gathering for women, transgender, and non-binary individuals who are sober-curious, newly sober, or in long-term recovery. Rooted in yoga philosophy, embodied practice, and shared reflection, this offering creates a supportive space to explore healing in community.
Each session integrates gentle, accessible movement, meditation, and discussion inspired by the Yamas and Niyamas (ethical and personal practices from the Yoga Sutras) that can offer grounding, clarity, and meaningful structure on the path of recovery. Together, we’ll explore themes like truthfulness, self-study, non-attachment, discipline, and surrender as tools for building trust with ourselves and deepening connection with others.
What to Expect:
Each Femme Recovery gathering includes embodied movement (think mindful movement rather than a traditional yoga class), a facilitated discussion inspired by the Yamas and Niyamas (principles from yoga philosophy) and how they relate to recovery, guided meditation, and an optional group reflection.
Sharing is always an invitation, never an expectation, and participants are welcome to engage at whatever level feels supportive.
This is not about perfection. It’s about returning to yourself with honesty, compassion, and curiosity. Through breath-led movement, mindful reflection, and collective care, Femme Recovery invites participants to reconnect with their inner wisdom and remember they do not have to do it alone.
