Fells Trails Volunteer Day

We’re continuing our fall workdays with some additional work on a set of culverts in Lawrence Woods on Saturday, October 11th from 9 AM to 12 PM. We’ll be improving drainage at Fells location B6-12 on Rams Head Path/Road. We’ll be digging, rock shopping, and doing rock work, but we’re hoping to improve drainage in a section of the fells trails system that often floods and its the perfect time to work on it. Please bring a shovel and a bucket if you have them.

We’ll meet . Drive all of the way to the back, back parking lot, if you cannot find parking in the front or midle back lots - there as there are usually language schools in session on Saturday mornings and Medford High School’s lots are busy (allow for ample time).

Please wear pants, tall socks, good sturdy hiking boots or sneakers, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. We recommend bringing a full reusable water bottle, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, and any snacks you'd like.
