Guido, the film director, retires to a private clinic. He wants to hide from the world, but all his attempts fail. Not only is he constantly being chased by his wife and lover, but also by the many people who are waiting for him to get another job, for a next, preferably again, big hit movie. The brilliant idea is waiting for you, instead you are tormented by dreams and childhood anxieties. In his imagination, all the women who played some role in his life are leaving.
