The mighty sounds of a live symphony orchestra demonstrate to students how different musical elements can convey emotions like JOY, SADNESS, FEAR and EXCITEMENT, tying in perfectly with the social-emotional learning so crucial for today’s students. They’ll discover music can also be a tool to help them understand and even manage their own feelings – a vital part of their emotional development.
From the moment your students enter the majestic Boris Brott Great Hall at First Ontario Concert Hall, they’ll be immersed in a world of sound, emotion and curiosity. They will experience the powerful Brott tradition that has inspired young audiences for more than 50 years. This is more than a field trip; it’s a chance for your students to experience a living art form and make lifelong musical memories.
