Feeding the Future with Franklin County WIC

Join us as we celebrate Black breastfeeding week with an in person event! Our WIC breastfeeding team is here to share tips, resources, and support to help families thrive and meet their breastfeeding goals.

We will have a Doula as a guest speaker to talk about self care before and after delivery. Lactation Consultants and Breastfeeding Peers lead support groups, come with all your breastfeeding questions or concerns! Whether you’re pregnant or a have been breastfeeding for the past year, come connect, learn, and empower your breastfeeding journey.

We will have resources available for:

• Safe sleep
• Car Seats
• Home Visiting
• Positive Parenting Program
• Mental Health with POEM
• And more to come!

There will be refreshments, snacks and giveaways!

WIC supports all families and feeding journeys, no matter if you pump, feed at the chest or combination feed we are here to be your village of support.
