Feedback #046: Charlotte Dawson & Thomas Griffiths

Crits provide opportunities for artists to get feedback from their peers on their developing work. They offer valuable insight into how others see an artwork, build confidence in how to talk about art, and nurture creative community.

This session will see work presented by artists Charlotte Dawson and Thomas Griffiths. Crits are facilitated by our Programme & Communications Officer, Tyler Mellins.

Our crit format asks presenting artists to listen silently whilst others discuss their work, with minimal background information (the artist can share titles and whether the work is finished). After each discussion, there is an opportunity for the artist to respond or answer questions from the group.

The crit will begin at 4:00pm sharp, please arrive 5 mins early. The session will open with an opportunity for everyone to briefly introduce themselves. Following the crit, there is an optional drinks social at (The Harlequin, 108 Nursery St, Sheffield, S3 8GG).
