About this Event
About Writing Club:
Writing Club is a safe, supportive space where writing is fun and children are encouraged to play and experiment without the restrictions of grammar and grades. No fronted adverbials here!
Writing Club is a fortnightly group led by Rachel Mills and supported by Lucy Twist.
Rachel has around 10 years of experience working with children as a teaching assistant, music teacher and more facilitating writing workshops. Lucy is a commissioning editor of children's books with Hachette.
Joining Writing Club
We suggest children try one workshop initially to see if this is the right space for them, before joining the club. You can drop in occasionally, but most children come regularly.
We also ask a few questions about your child before their first workshop to ensure we cater for any additional needs. If you would like more information about the group please contact: [email protected]
