Feed The Country – A Nationwide Meal-Packing Movement by Tango Charities

Why We're Doing This

Millions of people across the country face hunger every single day. Feed The Country exists to prove that when communities show up together, on the same day, in the same spirit, we can make a real dent in that problem. On Saturday, September 19, 2026, volunteers in cities nationwide will gather for one purpose: making sure our neighbors have a meal. One city, one morning, one country coming together to fight hunger.

Join us for Feed The Country, a hands-on volunteer experience where individuals, families, and groups come together to make a difference, one meal at a time. In just two hours, we'll assemble an incredible amount of meals for those experiencing food insecurity in our community, as part of a single coordinated day of action happening in cities across America.

🧡 What to Expect

At this event, you'll gather around tables with other volunteers to make sandwiches, pack lunch sacks, and spread some kindness. It's simple, impactful, and fun for all ages!

We encourage you to wear orange to show your support (optional), tie your hair back, and wear bleach-safe clothing.
