Sunday Assembly is a secular congregation that meets once a month to share our stories, create community, and learn from our experiences. We are inclusive and everyone is valued here.
�Our Main Speaker:�Emily Autenrieth (ey/em), spent 32 years in Alaska before settling in California, and saw a need in the community for a space where people of all ages and identities could be themselves and learn about others. With eir spouse Ryan's support, Emily opened a pop-up and online bookstore out of the family's home in January 2020 and started to build up a supportive community. Emily and Ryan opened the brick-and-mortar location of A Seat at the Table Books in November 2021. We have been featured by ABC10 as their first business of the year for 2022, for Pride in 2024, and for our work in the community on multiple occasions.
�Sunday Assembly Sacramento is held in the Reason Center at 1300 Ethan Way, Suite 675 toward the back of the building. As always, families are welcome and child care is provided. The doors open at 10:30 am and the program will begin at 11:00 am.�We will have a speaker, a short Doing Your Best presentation by a member, a time for members to share their Milestones, and a potluck. Please bring a dish to share unless you are a newcomer. Donuts and coffee are provided. Hope to see you there!
