Yu Sheng Dinner

Experience an unforgettable three-course meal celebrating the Lunar New Year. Start your culinary journey with passed appetizers and a signature mocktail. Enjoy a family-style dinner featuring Yu Sheng, a traditional Cantonese-style raw salad traditionally enjoyed during Lunar New Year. Each Yu Sheng ingredient symbolizes a wish for the new year. Participants shout wishes and toss the ingredients with chopsticks—the higher your toss, the higher your fortunes grow!

In addition to the Yu Sheng salad, the dinner will feature creative Lunar New Year dishes showcasing the culinary talent of local chefs, Diane Dich of Happy Takeout and Yekaterina Balagian of Omakase Por Favor—with more to come!

Parking & Arrival

Parking will be available at Leataata Floyd Elementary School and Health Professions High School next door. No parking will be available at Food Literacy Center, except for limited accessible parking. Please contact us at [email protected] to request an accessible parking spot.

Enter the farm through the main gate entrance at the end of McClatchy Way. Event registration will be out front.
