🗓️ Saturday 7 November
📍NGV Australia, Fed Square
Learn the generational art of feather flower making in a special workshop led by master weaver Aunty Glenda Nicholls (Waddi Waddi, Ngarrindjeri, and Yorta Yorta).
While participants create their own feather flowers, Aunty Glenda will share cultural insights into a practice passed down to her by her mother and grandmother, with the invitation to connect with and celebrate this living tradition of making.
Aunty Glenda Nicholls will also participate in a free Artist Talk at 1.45pm, in conversation with NGV Senior Curator of First Nations Art, Dr Jessica Clark with her work Miwi Milloo (Good spirit of the Murray River) 2020, currently on display in Wurrdha Marra.
This program is part of Resonance: Truth Telling at NGV. Generously supported by the Ullmer Family Foundation.
