Meet around 8:15 am in the main lot at the end of Otis Drive. (GPS: 37.764439, -122.272843). (I've seen the gate to this lot still locked around 8:00 am in the morning once or twice. If this happens, you might need to look for nearby street parking to the left of Otis, or a spot in the dog park lot to the right.)We'll walk up the beach to Crab Cove and Ballena Bay. Expect shorebirds like sanderlings and sandpipers, tons of ducks, grebes and a few loons. If we get lucky, the rare yellow-billed loon may still be around.
