FBC Denver & Front Range and Dinosaur Ridge Hawk Watch April Outing

Join the Feminist Bird Club Denver & Front Range and Dinosaur Ridge Hawk Watch for our April 2025 bird outing!

Where:Stegosaurus Lot Dinosaur Ridge <-- link to Google Maps

When: Saturday, April 19 from 4PM-6PM.

What to expect: We'll travel 0.6 miles slowly on a steep unpaved trail to the Dinosaur Ridge Hawk Watch site. We will travel in two groups.

• All are welcome on this outing! No birding experience is needed! We can provide a loaner set of binoculars if needed.
• April weather subject to change, so please wear layers and bring snacks, water, sunscreen, sunglasses, and birding gear, if you have any.

Accessibility Info: The meet-up location includes free parking and no bathroom or water. Additional parking is available at the park and ride lot across the street and the closest bathroom is down the road at the Matthews/Winters Park Parking Lot.

• Trails are unpaved and can get steep.
• We will film some of the content of this outing since this site is not very physically accessible for those who may have trouble with steep or uneven terrain.
