About this Event

Fayette Pride

The FIRST ever Pride event in Fayette County history is coming to downtown Fayetteville August 1st, 2026! We will have a vendor market in Courthouse Square with amazing speakers and performances on the main stage PLUS a parade through Downtown!We are so lucky to have the best Grand Marshal we could have ever hoped for in the one and only, TAYLOR ALXNDR!

We will also have honored speakers:
Ed Johnson, the Mayor of Fayetteville
Zachery Fuller, Griffin City Commissioner
Dwayne Queen, Director of LGBTQ Affairs for the Atlanta Mayor's Office.

And performances by:
The Atlanta Women's Chorus
Southern Arc Dance Studio
Tony Thompson

and Chris Pierce!

We will have fun contests and kid's activities in the dedicated Kid's Corner by the stage along with our incredible vendor lineup which you can see in full on our website www.fayettepride.org

We also have an incredible food truck lineup! Setting up on site for all your culinary desires will be:

Lisa's Creperie

King of Pops!

And once the event is over, we've partnered with several allied local businesses for safe, fun After-Parties!

Fayette Pride's mission is to be a joyful, family-friendly, non-partisan event highlighting the history of the LGBTQ+ community and the progress made toward equality, fairness, and acceptance. Our goal is to promote inclusivity, awareness, and acceptance across Fayette County, Georgia and beyond.

Pride Parade starts at Fayette County Justice Center, traveling north on Glynn

Info: Cheer on Atlanta Freedom Bands and color guard, Southern Harm Roller Derby, Trans Joy, Southern Crescent Indivisible of Georgia and many others participating in the first Pride Parade in Fayette County! The parade will pass Pride Market on Stonewall Avenue about 1:15-1:20 PM. Get ready for it!

TAYLOR ALXNDR takes Main Stage in Courthouse Square

Southern Arc Dance on Main Stage

Info: Southern Arc Dance is building a confident, technical, artistic, and inclusive new generation of dancers. Members of the troupe will perform for Fayette Pride’s inaugural event.

Atlanta Women's Chorus

Info: Atlanta Women's Chorus is a talented, diverse group of all ages, backgrounds and beliefs, and one of the world's longest-running gay choruses. Just back from a European tour, a contigent from AWC will perform for Fayette's first Pride event.

After Parties

Info: When Pride Market closes, attendees can continue the fun at one of Pride's After Party venues, hosted by restaurants in Downtown Fayetteville: Awkward Brewing, Gremlin Growlers, Revival Wine Bar, The Hummingbird Room, Line Creek Brewing, and Camp Brewing.
