“We are excited to present the inaugural Fayette County Pride! 🌈 This will be a joyful, non-partisan, family-friendly Pride Parade and Vendor Market with fun activities for all ages.
We are so honored to have none other than the Queen Mother of Atlanta Drag, Taylor Alxndr, as our Grand Marshal! ✨
The Details:
📅 Saturday August 1st from 12PM–5PM
📍 Courthouse Square in Downtown Fayetteville, Georgia
👑 Grand Marshal: Taylor Alxndr
🛍️ Vendor Market opens at 12PM
🏳️🌈 Parade at 1PM
🎉 Activities in Courthouse Square from 2–5PM (more info TBD)
🍻 Official After-Party Locations include: Gremlin Growlers, Awkward Brewing, and Revival Wines with more to come!
Ways to Participate:
🏳️⚧️ March — friends/family groups, businesses, motor clubs, non-profits, churches, and even politicians are welcome to march in the parade. Bring your energy, your voice, and your visibility to the streets. Show up, take up space, and be part of what makes Pride powerful.
🎨 Sell — Our vendor market will feature local and regional artists, makers, and businesses who are a part of, or are friendly to the LGBTQIA community. Apply to join us and share your work in a space built for connection, creativity, and celebration.
🤝 Volunteer — Pride doesn’t happen without community and we need you in it. Volunteer with us to help bring the parade and festival to life, creating a space that’s joyful, safe, and full of connection.
💖 Sponsor — We are looking for LGBTQIA-friendly businesses, big and small, to sponsor this event! If your business or organization is proud to be an ally and wants to help us put on the best event possible, let us know!
🌟 Attend — The easiest way of all! Join us for the parade and festival to celebrate and take in the energy of Pride in full color. Come through, bring your people, and be part of the moment!
