FAST GUNS & FREEDOM I & II is two CMSA DWPQ shoots on the weekend of July 4th and 5th, 2026 hosted by the Wild Rice Peacemakers. Minimum $1,000 Added Money!! Final $$ total TBA
**This shoot is to be held during the Red River Valley Fair in Fargo, ND (Indoor arena) - a daily wristband will be required by the Fairgrounds for EACH PERSON IN ATTENDENCE. Cost of the wristbands are $5/day, can be bought at the gate.
As an FYI, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY evening there are concerts held at the Fairgrounds, be prepared for noise levels from the grandstands.
Schedule (all times are approximate) Registration Friday night 7:00pm - 9:00pm (location TBA)
SATURDAY:
8:00am - 9:00am Check-in and Registration
9:30am - Mandatory Safety Meeting including Wranglers followed by Wrangler Ground Shooting, presentation of the colors and National Anthems
10:00am - 3 Stage Main Match Shoot followed by 2 Stage Rifle and 2 Stage Shotgun
Results approximately 1 hour after last shot. (No potluck supper, enjoy the fair stands!)
SUNDAY:
7:30am-8:00am Check-in and Registration
8:30am - Mandatory Safety Meeting including Wranglers followed by Wrangler Ground Shooting, presentation of colors and National Anthems
9:00am - 3 Stage Main Match Shoot
Awards and Checks approximately 1 hour after last shot
Ammo: Whitehouse and Curly's
Camping: 23 Electrical hookups are available at $35/night on gravel; dry camping also available at $25/night in a grass area. (Please message Liza to reserve electrical) trailers will be parked tight to use electrical hookups due to limited space.
STALLS: 71 available (please message Liza to reserve) $35/stall for the weekend. (At this time, no tack stalls) MUST CLEAN YOUR STALL OUT AT THE END OF THE WEEKEND, otherwise additional charges will apply. (No porta fencing allowed)
Shavings $8/bag available on site or can bring your own shavings.
