Summary-

This exhibition is crafted to explore the role of the Cultural Producer—particularly the music producer, makeup artist (MUA), stylist, and creative director—as a key architect in shaping the image of women in rap, with a focus on Black women. It examines how these figures collaborate to construct stage personas that drive marketing and sales, while simultaneously influencing broader fashion and beauty standards.This is the third chapter in Fashion UEL's trilogy celebrating Black Women in Hip Hop.

The nearest train and tube station is 'Old Street' which is 5mins walk away from the venue.

Indra Gallery will be open from 10am.

Charged tickets gives you entry to the event.

Do I need to bring my ticket to the event?

Yes please do bring your ticket as this will help us register you quickly on arrival. Tickets can be presented as hard copy or on mobile devices.

Do I need to bring ID to the event?

ID may be required to help identify you in the event that you forget your ticket.

Is a concession ticket available?

Due to the subsidised nature of the ticket prices, a further concession ticket is unfortunately not available.

What are your rules on filming and photography?
