Fanuel's work is deeply rooted in memory, transformation and the restorative power of nature. Working in the ancient disciplines of woodblock carving and printmaking, he creates intricate compositions inspired by life beneath the water's surface.
Following periods of profound personal loss, Fanuel turned to the ocean for solace. Fish became symbols of rebirth, resilience and renewal, embodying the constant movement and change that shape our lives. Through painstaking craftsmanship, he transforms emotion into form, inviting viewers to reflect on their own journeys of growth and transformation.
