About the Workshop
Looking at a painting can be like stepping into another world where anything is possible. Imagine strange creatures, magical places and stories waiting to be discovered.
Are you interested in fantasy and creative writing? If you're aged 12–16, join us in the Hunterian Art Gallery to create your own fantasy story inspired by the incredible artworks on display.
Dream up your own worlds, heroes and adventures. Develop your stories with the help of friendly experts. Explore curious and inspiring artworks up close!
This session is open to anyone aged 12–16. No experience necessary. No need to bring anything – all writing materials and refreshments will be provided.
This session has been developed in partnership with colleagues from the University of Glasgow's School of Critical Studies and the Centre for Fantasy and the Fantastic, as well as colleagues from the University of Strathclyde.
