Fantasy Bookclub Scotland is a welcoming, chaotic-in-the-best-way community for fantasy and romantasy lovers. We’re proudly women- and queer-owned, creating a space for the shes, theys, and anyone who thrives on morally complex characters, slow-burn suffering, and emotional damage served with a side of chaos.
Joining us on the night is our special Glasgow independant bookshop partner, Daydreams Bookshop who will be on hand for shopping, special editions, pre-orders and exclusive discount.
About the Book
Book gremlins, it’s time to settle in for something a little softer… a little slower… and a lot more emotionally dangerous.
This month, we’re diving into Shield of Sparrows by Devney Perry. A story where devotion comes at a cost, choices carry quiet consequences, and nothing is ever quite as simple as it first seems.
What to Expect
- A cosy, chaotic in-person discussion with fellow romantasy lovers
- Activities, games and general shenanigans
- Hot takes, unhinged theories, and deep dives into characters and plots
- Laughter, tears, and mild fangirl chaos (FBS style)

Check-in starts at 6:25PM
Venue: Social Bite (no parking available nearby, but excellent public transport links)
Tickets include: talking points, games, quizzes, and prizes!
Coffees, teas and cakes available to purchase at the café (we highly recommend the chocolate and chilli cookie).
A portion of all ticket sales will be donated directly to Social Bite on the night.
