The Whitehorse Community Garden is an enclosed, accessible green space located within the historic Whitehorse Road Recreation Ground in West Croydon.
An important place for the local community, they need volunteers to help building and restore their planting beds.
This is a great chance to introduce the whole family to the value of outdoor community spaces.
The site are also providing a picnic lunch for all volunteers!
FAQ
- Tickets: Please obtain a ticket for each adult and child.
- Equipment and clothing: All necessary equipment will be provided. Please dress appropriately for the weather. The session will go ahead in the event of light rain.
- Provisions: Please bring water and food, or use local amenities. There will be a short lunch break midway through the session.
- Safeguarding: Our team leaders are DBS checked and first aid trained. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult and cannot be left unattended. The session is open to all ages.
