Family Resource Fair + Books & Bubbles at Ryon Park!

In honor of National Breastfeeding Month, we're celebrating families! Come join a special Books & Bubbles story time and meet fabulous resources supporting families!
LVMC in partnership with WIC, Help Me Grow and the Lompoc Library will be hosting a Family Resource Fair at Ryon Park in celebration of National Breastfeeding Month. The Fair will feature an array of community-based organizations that provide supports for families with young children including LEAP, SBCEO, CALM and Children's Resource and Referral amongst many others. Each of the agencies will have information on the services they offer for families of young children as well as activities for the children. The Lompoc Library will be hosting a bilingual Books and Bubbles event to engage the children in story time and play! Lactation Consultants from Lompoc Valley Medical Center will be leading a breastfeeding support circle. There will also be an assortment of giveaways to support families including diapers, children's books and lactation supplies. This event is open to all families and is being promoted through a variety of community agencies, social media, press releases, and community postings.
