Introducing the “Maths with Myra : Family learning series”

Early Years Maths Fest (for 3-5 year olds) taking place on Friday 4th, 11th and 18th October 10-12pm. This is a FREE EVENT for which registration is necessary due to limited spaces. You can use our link tree above to register.
Following on from the success of our science in healthcare day, I am delighted to be able to bring more STEM related opportunities for family learning to you. Working in collaboration with Essex County Council on a Multiply project to plug maths learning gaps for adults. I have chosen to partner up with TiEGr as a provider on our first couple of projects.
There are lots of myths and misconceptions around STEM subjects which often arise at a young age, so it’s important to provide opportunities for children to experience activities in context. Schools are at capacity so it’s great to be able to offer this sort of opportunity to our community.
Please note - All children must have an accompanying adult with them as this is an interactive, fully funded & resourced “family learning” opportunity.
And why not make a day of it, by enjoying a picnic in the park, time and treats at Cheerful Chai coffee shop or letting the kids enjoy the pirate ship play area while you enjoy a proper Chai latte.
