Cardinals wear their hearts on their sleeves in terms of their style and sound, with echoes of the post-hardcore scene they were brought up on mixing with the modern sounds associated with the bands adorning magazine covers and festival main stages in the current day. It is a sound which is encapsulated perfectly on their debut EP, We Are All Ghosts.
The five track release demonstrates the journey Cardinals have been on over the past 12 months, including the three previously released singles as well as two unheard tracks. It is a perfect snapshot in time for a band constantly creating and honing their sound; anthemic choruses, walls of guitar, hard hitting drums and an epic yet intimate vocal delivery. The songs in question have become a mainstay in the band’s live set and they are built for audiences to be screaming them back.
2023 was a whirlwind for Cardinals and 2024 looks to be no different. A first foray into the live environment has already returned sold out shows and with the release of We Are All Ghosts they are ready to take their music to the next level and to anyone that will listen
