Dear Bobcat Family, Friends, and Community:We are thrilled to announce a revamp to our annual Bobcat Block Party – we are going back to our roots and hosting Family Fun Night! Back in the day, Family Fun Night was a carnival-like event that the whole school community attended and enjoyed. We want to create that sense of community again! The event will take place Friday, May 1, 2026, at Burnett Creek Elementary. This special event is more than just a celebration—it is a reflection of the strong sense of community, connection, and togetherness that defines Burnett Creek Elementary.
At BCE, we believe that when families, educators, businesses, and community members come together, we create an environment where students thrive. Family Fun Night is a meaningful opportunity to strengthen those connections, celebrate our shared Bobcat pride, and continue building a supportive and inclusive school community. When students feel supported not only by their teachers, but also by their families and the broader community, they are far more likely to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
School community plays a vital role in fostering this environment. Whether it’s attending events, supporting classrooms, or simply building relationships with one another, every effort contributes to a culture where students feel connected. Togetherness also allows us to celebrate our diversity, support one another through challenges, and create opportunities that enrich the student experience.
